My goal is to find the best fit for each individual or group. These specialties include:
- Gottman Level II Clinical Training– Helping couples deepen their understanding of complex dynamics in couples therapy, focusing on interventions for affairs, trauma, and co-morbidities. Implement advanced interventions to navigate high-conflict situations, affairs, and trauma, facilitating deeper healing and connection. Master sophisticated strategies in emotional regulation, conflict resolution, and fostering intimacy, elevating your therapeutic effectiveness.
- PAIRS (Practical Application of Intimate Relationship Skills) Level I Trainer – An evidence-based approach that helps couples with emotional understandings and behaviors that nurture and sustain healthy relationships.
- PREP 8.0 Training (Prevention and Relationship Enhancement Program) – Couples will learn how to increase emotional safety with evidence-based skills and strategies that have been around for over 40 years.
- Art & Creativity for Healing Certification – Working with clients such as children and adults suffering from abuse, illness, grief, or stress. Clients will learn how to use the language of color as a way to facilitate creative and emotional expression through abstract painting on canvas and other visual mediums, such as collage.
As a client-centered counselor, I approach each individual and couple with empathy and unconditional positive regard. As a retired Navy veteran with 24 years of experience in customer care, my number one importance is you and your well-being.
